It has won multiple awards for the quality of its food and embraces its 16th century origins and placement as a hotel on the bank of the River Wye which flows through Ross. - The Chase Hotel - The Chase Hotel is a stunning Georgian country house hotel. It is surrounded by 11 acres of country land and wonderful lanscaped gardens. This hotel in Ross is situated within a few minutes walk of the centre of historic Ross on Wye. The hotel maintains many of its original period features allowing guests a very comfortable stay.
- Royal Hotel - The Royal Hotel sits high above the great horse shoe bend in the River Wye; commanding wonderful views of the Wye Valley and surrounding countryside. The hotel itself is a majestic grade II Georgian country house, which was built on the original site of the Bishop's Palace. A little known fact is that Charles Dickens used this hotel when visiting his business manager, George Dolby, who was a resident of Ross on Wye.
